Alan is a graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, in New Orleans, and has been involved in real estate development and consulting work since 1988.

Originally from New York, and after 6 YEARS of commercial and office development experience there, Alan moved to Tampa in 1993 and began work a startup venture developing Walgreens stores across Florida, as well as New York, Las Vegas, Hilton Head Island, Georgia and Puerto Rico.

In 2001, Alan established Zimple Development, and began an ongoing 17-year relationship consulting for, and developing Walmart stores across west central Florida. In addition, Zimple is or has been involved in working with numerous national retailers and developers on small and large scale projects throughout the region.

Today, Zimple is positioned to both self-develop retail/commercial properties, as well as consult for landowners and other developers, assisting them with site selection, tenant acquisition, lease/purchase agreement negotiation, entitlement services, development management services, and construction and contracting oversight.

With nearly 30 years of real estate experience, nothing is too big, or too small for Zimple to handle.
